 Perth is home to a large selection of different hotels for all budgets, spreading out from Perth city centre to many of Perth's interesting suburbs. Cheap Perth lodging is easy to find, together with budget accommodation, Perth hostels and Perth guesthouses. Many of Perth's luxury hotels are situated in the heart of Perth city centre and often offer superb views of the city and Perth's legendary Sunset Coast.

Many of Perth's hotels are particularly concentrated around the coastal areas of Perth's Cottesloe and Scarborough districts. These hotels are perfect for beach and surf holidays in Perth and many are located on the beachfront itself. If you intend to visit many of Perth's top tourist attractions and landmarks, hotels in Perth city centre are plentiful and Perth's Northbridge and Subiaco areas boast many world-class hotels and some of Perth's newest hotels. Nearby, the more residential suburb of South Perth tends to be preferred by families and this area of Perth is within easy reach of Perth city centre using the Narrows Bridge or the regular ferries that cross the Swan River.
Hotels in central Perth tend to drop their hotel rates at the weekends, as business travellers form the majority of their business between Monday to Friday. Perth's busiest tourist season is during the summer months, between December to February, and many of Perth's hotels do increase their rates during this time of the year. Cheaper hotel rates are often available out of season, during the winter months of June to September, and hostels are plentiful in Perth's Northbridge district. Prices are usually quoted per room, rather than per person, and many Perth hotels offer special rates and discounts when booked online on the Internet.
Other accommodation is available on the outskirts of Perth, in scenic areas such as Fremantle, Joondalup, Kalgoorlie, Malaga and Mandurah, where you will find many stylish, boutique-style hotels and guesthouses. These are often more reasonably priced during the week and booking in advance is advisable for all hotels in the Perth and Western Australia area.
